Role and Responsibilities
The DLT Science Foundation (DSF) is looking for a Jr Researcher who will:
- Conduct in-depth technical reviews of blockchain protocols and evaluate them based on the given methodology.
- Collect and analyse datasets from various blockchains using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Perform collaborative and/or independent research projects that align with the organisation’s research agenda
- Take initiative and propose new ideas where you see opportunities
- Write blog posts on research studies conducted by members of the Foundation
- Participate in research seminars
- Ability to meet deadlines with attention to detail
Requirements
The ideal applicant will be characterised by:
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of blockchain technology and crypto ecosystems
- Comfortable with both qualitative and quantitative research approaches
- Strong academic standing
- Prior research experience
- Programming skills in languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis are a plus.
- Proficiency in quantitative analysis techniques, statistical modelling, and data visualisation tools is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Commitment to ongoing research, learning, and adaptation in the rapidly evolving blockchain and cryptocurrency fields.
The position is suitable for candidates pursuing or looking to pursue a PhD degree in a related field at the same time. The ideal candidate is characterised by a strong knowledge of and passion for the blockchain industry.
